Should I Ride Bikes?

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

Yes. Yes you should.

This might seem obvious but some folks think that bikes are too silly or uncomfortable. We have very comfortable bikes that a beginner will love.

No matter what biking is for you.

What Kind of Bike Should I Buy?

Saturday, July 7th, 2007

This might be the toughest question to answer.

Bikes have changed a lot over the last 20 years. In reality they have changed over the last 5.

You need to be realistic about your expectations.

  • How much time do you have to ride?
  • What style of bikes are your buddies riding. If your riding partner has a road bike and you buy a hybrid you will not have an easy time keeping up.
  • Goals?? If you want to ride 100 miles in a day your Dirt Jumper might not cut it.

The easiest thing to do is to come by and ride some bikes. This will help to exclude some styles that don’t suit your needs.

Lube.

Today is a good day for bike lube..

WD-40 is NOT a bike lube.

We use and sell bike specific bike lubrication. There IS a difference.

We can apply a sample application to your chain for free.

Try it…You will like it!

Dan Nies

Meet Dan N.

Dan loves to ride his bike. Look for this big dude out on his custom Seven TI Alaris. He will be smiling.

Dan says:

“What do you do with a 265lb cyclist with 3 herniated disks? Sell him a Seven and he will think he can do anything.”
